I don't know why they wouldn't bring Armando back next movie, since that entire scene is justly the one scene everyone is like "no man that was dumb, it made no sense" about (unfortunately no one seems ... to care quite so much that that was the scene that kind of murdered Angel's characterization up to that point too), and if they do, whether they intended it or not, that is totes the explanation I'm expecting them to go with. SO.
